Working at The Running Stitch is a pleasure for me for several reasons. Among those reasons is the ability to be part of important causes. Recently, The Running Stitch had the opportunity to contribute to the Tour For Kids Quilt Day, which was an event held by the Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation. This Foundation supports camps in Ontario for children living with cancer. The photos are of the group who attended the event and some of the hard work they did. It was a pleasure to be able to contribute to this event, and I hope to be part of events like this in the future.

About Me
- Michèle
- Owner of The Running Stitch in Kanata, Ontario. Michèle was first bitten by the Quilting B(ug) when she took her first quilting lesson in Nova Scotia in 1985. It wasn’t until ten years later when Michèle and her family was living in Ottawa that Michèle was “bitten” once again when she was walking by “Seams Sew Perfect” and saw a beautiful sampler quilt in the window. She signed up for the course and has been quilting ever since. Michèle believes that every individual has a creative side, she endeavors along with her staff at The Running Stitch to take her customers to the next level.
